Girl and The Bird
In a small village, near a large dense forest lived a girl named Maya. She loved playing with her brother in nature, making trinkets and drawing pictures to show her mother, who worked in the garden. She adored chocolate cake with colorful chocolate sprinkles.
She had rosy cheeks and golden hair that shimmered in the sun like a true Goldilocks. Her eyes were chestnut-like, full of joy and warmth that emanated from her heart. She wore a pink dress in which she looked like a real princess. Every twirl around her created a magical circle. She was playful and cheerful.
One morning, as usual, she brushed her teeth, washed her face, put on her princess dress, and greeted her mother, father, and brother with “Good morning!”
Mother prepared breakfast, which was Maya’s and her brother’s favorite. They had chocolate pancakes and a warm drink. Who wouldn’t enjoy such a breakfast, right?
They finished breakfast and, all messy from chocolate, went to wash up in the bathroom. After that, they came to help mother tidy up the kitchen to make her workload lighter. After helping mother, she said, “Okay kids, it’s time to go outside and play. It’s a beautiful sunny day, make the most of it in nature.”
That’s how it usually goes when we listen to mother, she always delights us with something we love. Maya and her brother listened to their mother and cheerfully went out into nature.
When they left the house, a gentle breeze touched them, caressing their cheeks and playing with their hair. They felt as if nature was whispering to them. Immediately, they could smell the pleasant scent of fresh grass and hear the birds chirping joyfully.
There was a little stream where ducks swam and frogs croaked. As every day, they ran across the grass, jumping over the meadow.
This time it was a bit different. They spotted a bird lying in the bush. They ran to it and saw that its wing was broken. They gently picked it up and hurried home.
“Mom, mom, the bird has a broken wing, we want to help it.” the children said simultaneously. “Quickly, the birdie needs a veterinarian, an animal doctor.” And so they took it to the veterinarian, who treated the bird and said it would be better in a few days.
While Maya took care of the bird, her father and brother built a little house for it in the backyard. They agreed to name her Lara and that she would stay with them until she recovered.
The End.
