The Magic Wardrobe
Jan was a six-year-old boy who had just moved with his parents to an old house in the countryside.
The house was full of old things: wooden rocking horses, old kitchen utensils, and dust everywhere, as is often the case in old houses. The house had many secrets just waiting to be discovered.
One day, while exploring the attic, Jan found an old, dusty wardrobe hidden behind several boxes. It was carved with strange symbols and had an unusual lavender scent inside.
“How strange this wardrobe is, I’ll look for the right key to see what’s inside!” thought the boy.
On the left side of the wardrobe, on a thick black book with gold letters, lay the key. When Jan took the key in his hand, the wardrobe immediately began to glow.
“How odd, this must be a magical wardrobe!” thought Jan.
As soon as the boy unlocked the wardrobe, he found himself in a beautiful, magical world. The trees were tall and bathed in light, and the air was filled with sweet floral scents.
In the distance, he saw a castle and began to walk towards it, guided by magical creatures like butterflies and fairies.
The six-year-old boy Jan arrived at the castle and saw children who were imprisoned there.
“The evil witch has trapped us. You will save us if you find the objects that will break the spell,” the children shouted from the windows.
“Of course, tell me which objects I need to find and I will save you!” shouted the brave boy.
“A magical book, a golden key, and a red rose!” they all shouted at the same time.
The boy immediately ran into the magical forest.
At the entrance to a large bush of white roses full of thorns, he saw the red rose, the furthest one of all. Bravely, he reached his hand into the bush and took out the rose without a scratch.
He packed it into his bag and continued.
He came to a magical lake to rest a bit as he had already traveled a long way. Suddenly, at the bottom of the lake, the golden key began to shine.
“How will I get it now that it is so deep?” Jan sighed disappointedly. “If only someone could help me!” he said helplessly.
Suddenly, a colorful fish approached him and said, “I will help you!” and it brought the golden key to the surface. The boy thanked it and continued his search for the third item.
“Where could the magical book be? I have crossed the entire forest and the magical lake… Where could it be?” he wondered aloud.
“Look up, and everything will become clear, take the magical book before it’s too late!” said the large old tree in whose branches the magical book lay.
Jan put the book in his bag and ran towards the castle.
He arrived at the castle and saw the evil witch getting ready to eat the children. He took all three items from his bag and walked towards her.
Seeing the three items in the boy’s hands, the evil witch lost her power, turned into a mouse, and the magical world returned to a state of peace and happiness.
The boy Jan opened the castle doors and freed the children the evil witch had imprisoned.
Six-year-old Jan returned through the wardrobe to his world, holding the key in his hand as a reminder of his magical adventure.
Every time he passes by the wardrobe, he just smiles, knowing that magic exists - you just have to believe in it.
